Julia and Kelly at the Airport. They did well on the 4 1/2 and 5 hour plane rides, to and from California for Christmas with the Burds. Kelly took a little 30 minute cat nap, but not surprisingly Julia didn't sleep a wink!
Here we all are at the California Burd's Home. God gave us safe flights both directions and wonderful memories too!
Mom and Kelly Sunday Morning. Wow, I'm not much on noticing family resemblance but gee, I think this kid looks like me.
Kelly in her Christmas Dress. She was pretty excited being in it just like her big sissy (she'd seen Julia wear hers a lot and must have been thrilled to have an identical one).
Julia, Sunday Morning in her Cinderella Christmas Dress. What a Princess.

Christmas Day for the girls at the California Burd's. The "adults" couldn't wait for Christmas so we opened our presents Christmas Eve after the girls had gone to bed. The next morning we all enjoyd watching the girls open their gifts.

Julia really enjoyed the outside of Uncle Steve and Aunt Chris's house. She also enjoyed staying in and playing with the ladies (or rather watching them play dominos). But her favorite activity was probably playing with Cody, Steph's new puppy (Kelly really enjoyed the other 3 doggies too, Gracie shown above, Buddy and Murph).
Christmas Day, December 25th. We had to make it seem more like California right? Even though the outside temperature was about 52. Both girls "warmed-up" to the whole hot tub thing rather quickly.

Happy 3rd Birthday Julia Marie Crawford!
Veggie Tale Balloons, by Kirk!

Julia's 3rd Birthday. These balloons are becoming a tradition and for the second year in a row Kirk's Veggie Balloons are a hit. This year he created more than ever! What fun! (more b-day pictures to follow)

While the mood was still full of energy, Mommy tried to take a few pictures of her favorite people in the whole world. Which shot is your favorite? I couldn't pick.
Daddy came home from work energized the other day and had all his girls laughing and singing and dancing, even Liel :) What a guy.
The decorated classroom of Mr. Crawford. What a guy! I thought this looked super, there were other decorations throught the room too, and the stockings are personalized with the names of his 29 students (hint, hint, they will be filled before christmas break too!)

Julia, Kelly and Mommy seen here on our bed. Well, it's the "Fake-Mommy" anyway. The real mommy went out and the real daddy did a funny to entertain his girls. They just thought it was so super, the next day they were asking me to re-create the fake mommy. Your the best Hon!
Not the best clarity of a picture, but I just couldn't resist puting on here because it's so cute of our little Kelly (Julia came up with Kelly Bean the other day as a nick name, kinda cute huh?)
Julia and Kelly sharing a healthy snack of apples before dinner. The other day on the baby monitor I overheard Julia saying "I Love you Kelly." It was so precious. I also asked Julia who she'll want to sit next to in the car, Liel or Kelly and she paused and then said "Mommy, I want to sit next to Kelly AND Liel." What a girl! I couldn't have scripted it any better.

Here is our Julia with her favorite snowman "Frosty", standing by our Christmas Tree. Daddy made a wonderful day of it Saturday. He took Julia out and bought our first real family tree and some decorations, then came home and went to town decking the whole thing out. We think it all looks super!

Here, the Crawford girls are seen with some of their recent play buddies. What a blessing the Youngs and the Everetts have been to us. (Caroline Young swinging with Julia and Rachel Everett sharing with Kelly)

Happy Birthday Kelly Joannah. We love you!
Can it really be God gave you to us 1 year ago? How thankful we are to have you as a part of our family.
Daddy and Julia plotting together about the balloon dump on Kelly in crib.
Party Time Kelly Jo! Daddy, Mommy, Julia, Grammy and Poppy all went in on Kelly after she woke from her nap and drop balloons into her crib. She seemed a bit puzzled, as we sang happy birthday to her around her bed. But you can tell she certainly enjoyed the attention.

Kelly did remarkably well at figuring out the whole present opening thing. I think most of all she enjoyed the sounds of the crinkly paper.

Kelly exploring this thing called a Birthday Cake. She was amazingly neat. Although we all thought at any moment it was gonna end up in her hair.
Julia and Kelly in a rocking chair full of blankets (or "blanks" as they are fondly referred to around our house).
Julia and Kelly playing in the colorful leaves on a hill by our house. I saw this spot a day ago and thought it would make a great place for photos and fun.
Here is Julia showing Kelly how this playing in the leaves things is done. What happy girls. I am so blessed. The love and discipline is really paying off. These girls are a joy to take places. We are often stopped and complimented on how well behaved they are. Thank you Lord for my little sweethearts.
This was Kelly's first exerience with Fall leaves. She seemed to enjoy looking at them and of course watching Julia slide down the hill.
Julia smiling pretty for the camera. She asked me if we could come back tomorow and slide down the leaves some more. So cute.

This week we learned that Kelly has secret talents. She managed to climb back into the tub after bath time (and she also managed to get on top of daddy and mommy's bed in less than 5 minutes after I set up a little test for her, suitcase and rubbermade container at the foot of the bed).

I love seeing my girls play together and dressed similar. They make me smile everyday. Thanks for the matching outfits mom. I think the girls look super in them.
Grammy and Poppy always equal fun times. They brought these balls over one night when they watched the girls for a few hours. It entertained them all (4 of them) the whole time. Thanks for the fun memories and great picture with your camera phone Dad.

Here are our precious girls, posing with our newest addition to the pumpkin patch. We have enough pumpkins for every member of the family, even one for the little babe in mom's belly.

Thanks Daddy for a fun Pumpkin Carving time. Julia especially enjoyed it and wanted to help Daddy "gut" the pumpkin. Kelly, mostly seems to enjoy knocking the little pumpkins off the tables.

Kelly has finally started showing some interest in walking. Mom was beginning to wonder. She was a fairly early crawler and puller-upper, and then seemed content forever. Now she's using a walker and pushing chairs, the ottoman and just about anything accross the floor. Yippee, There is still hope for her walking close to her 1st b-day, like sissy.

We took the girls on their first hayride today. It was a perfect day too. The ride could have been longer for sure. Julia enjoyed the sights and throwing some hay while Kelly had hay in both hands and in her mouth practically the whole time.
Kelly Jo in the tub. She was having a blast. It was either because water-play is so fun, or because she knew mommy was taking a picture.
Smile Pretty Sweetie!

The Crawfords on Columbus Day
Took a little trip away.
With help from Mom and Dad,
It sure did make the grandkids glad.

Kelly Joannah enjoying the sights of Lancaster. Pictured here at the Children's Hands-on Museam and playing in the kiddy pool playground at Willow Valley. What a cutie!

Super Daddy! Thanks for using your great strength and lightening my load this way several times during our vacation. Boy did your girls just giggle and smile. What would I do without you my love?
